The RPM Christian surfers comp held at Muriwai, on the west coast of Auckland is one of the largest in the Christian surfers calendar. Conditions for day one were on the whole favourable with a 3-4ft swell producing some good waves coupled with offshore winds gave a boost to the day.

Some good displays of surfing were on offer in this relaxed competition. Along with the surfing also being run in the main car park was a skateboarding comp with a half pipe erected and to top it off local bands were given the chance to entertain the guests. Check out some of the action here
